ABOUT ME
Hello, and thanks for visiting - I’m Jas! I’m a photographer based in Edinburgh where I live with my husband, Mitchell, and our (very cute) dog, Toby.
I got my start in photography as a kid, finding one of my parent’s 80s polaroid cameras and eventually getting my own film and digital point-and-shoots. For a long time, I did photography for myself - lots of landscapes and adventures with friends and my husband.
When one of my friends got engaged, she asked if I would take some photos of her and her partner. And then it evolved into shooting her wedding. And that’s when I realized my passion for this - the memories, the moments - so I kept going.
Why do I shoot weddings and elopements?
I absolutely love photographing weddings and love that I get to do it as my job. One of the things I love most is that every wedding and every story is wholly unique - how we interact with our partners, each other, and the way we express our love and emotions.
I love capturing each of your stories as honest representations of who you are.
It’s the joy in helping couples say “I do”, no matter how they choose to do it.

I put great value in the overall experience of your wedding day - there is no one-size-fits-all approach to getting married. My husband and I eloped in the highlands because that felt right for us, and I like to help couples discover how to celebrate their own love and connection in a way that is true to them, to be completely yourselves.
I know from personal experience that your wedding day will pass in a blur. It’s the little details – the first time your partner lays eyes on you, a knowing glance, a teary-eyed parent, and the quiet, small moments with just the two of you.
Every time you look at your gallery, it’ll be like re-living every emotion all over again.

Jasmine has done multiple shoots for my husband and I and it has always been a fun experience. She is very accommodating and a pleasure to work with. My husband is not a fan of having his photo taken but has always felt comfortable with Jasmine behind the lens.
